Will Boot Camp: CHAPTER 1

Introduction

What Is Will Boot Camp?

Books are always a good source of knowledge; in them we find interesting pieces of information that can range from the most fascinating to the most gruesome, nonetheless, there is an ocean of knowledge out there, hidden within the trillions of pages written throughout our existence.

There are many types of books, as many as desires that appeal to human nature; there are those that talk about chemistry, poetry, psychology, philosophy, etc—all offering a plethora of subjects, suited for all needs, tastes, languages and ages. But there is one type that has always fascinated me because of their power to get you riled up and eliciting a burst of inspiration that makes you feel you can change the world and turn it around at your will; books that get you so inspired that make you forget--if temporarily--the not-so-happy reality we have forged for ourselves.

These books contain an insurmountable amount of inspiration; they tell us about overcoming obstacles, how to change ourselves and have a better relationship with others, how to become happy, how succeed in sentimental and emotional matters, as well as financially wise— all written there, in plain pages--- yet, why has that prosperity, happiness and sense of self-satisfaction been so elusive to most of humanity? What’s the secret!

While not all books were created equal, nonetheless, in general, they are ALL great guides and sources of information, but why though the solution is laid out right in front of our eyes, that solution is seldomly attained by most of those who read them?  Why are there so many “unfortunate” people on this planet that seem to never quite grasp the concept?

The truth is that the solution lies where the problem resides: In our-selves, an issue that lies in a person-based factor, rather than external causes, which constitutes the greatest obstacle and which we must tackle in order to TRANSCEND, about which we will delve through in a later chapter.

It intrigued me to see how many readers of those books seemed to have found the “light at the end of the tunnel” and while reading it, had it all down to a tee, but only to find out, when they turned the last page and closed the cover, that THAT sudden burst of clarity; that light at the end of the tunnel, had faded back  to a minute faint dot in an abyss of emptiness, and leaving them with a larger void in their lives, until the next hype comes—I was one of those readers.

                                                            Now, I see the light!
                                                               Now, I see the light!

                                                                  Now, I see the light!

                                                                                                        Now, I see the light!

                                                                       Now, I see the light!

                                                                           Now, I see the light!

                                                                              .

                                                     OOPS! THE LIGHT IS GONE

Compensatory Seeking

Many of us resort to books in order to boost our motivation so that we can find the strength and decisiveness to achieve certain goals, which we use to compensate our inspirationally imagined achievements and suppress the lack of them in the real world. But in the end, all that gained motivation vanishes and we find ourselves reading another book to fill the void left by the inspirational surge created by the last book we read, and so, we keep on reading and going from one book to the next, waiting to find ONE book that will change our lives, as the cliché goes, but seemingly that book never comes, and if it does, the effects of its arrival are very ephemeral.

The worst of it all, is that the more hyped up a book gets us, the harder it is to find one that would equate or surpass the level of inspiration received from the last book we read; maybe we became more demanding or the void left by it, was greater, than the one we felt before and as a result of that we needed a larger infusion of inspiration, because our “emotional tolerance” had increased, and as that cycle repeats itself, we find ourselves in a psychological vicious circle which is very difficult to break out of—but it doesn’t HAVE to be that way!

I began to figure out that there was nothing wrong with the books I was reading, that, though some contained more convincing and  inspirational information and they befit our personal needs at the moment, the decisive factor did not rest upon the book itself, but upon our own WILL to PERSIST and that all that searching and reading was no more than an expiatory attempt to escape the guilt caused by cohabiting with our own defects.

To break vicious circle, I have created a series of exercises to develop the discipline needed to do the things you want to do without hesitation, because these exercises will instill in you the decisiveness that it takes to act upon your will. These exercises entail a series mental and physical work that adheres to a military-style regimentation and implementation of military training which I have denominated Will Boot Camp.

Will Boot Camp is an academy in a book that will help you to overcome the person factor that cripples your WILL and with it your right to succeed. It will help you overcome the obstacles, fears that hinder your progress and rid you once and for all of  damaging habits , such as complacency and self-induced restraining thoughts that do not allow you to spring up into action and  take decisive action on the matters that can effect a change in your social, economic and emotional status  as well as any other issues that you encounter on your quotidian life.

Will boot camp applies the techniques of military training and transfers them to a complete program designed to reboot your operating system and give you the tools you need to be free, active and proactive. It will strengthen the muscles of your WILL so that no task seems too tedious, too hard and too difficult to accomplish by shifting the immediate focus to end results rather than focusing of the process to achieve them. You will learn to act, instead of analyzing the difficulties and crouching back into lackadaisical mode.

Will Boot Camp, is the program that will remove those heavy weights that make it feel so difficult and uncomfortable every time you need to get up and take action.

I know that they just feel too heavy; it is easier just to stay put, after all, why worry too much, we won’t take with us any of our belongings…WTH!…NO! NO! and NO, SENOR!  A king cobra looks majestic, enchanting, but it is lethal. Just because it feels too good to stay down and do nothing and just ride the wave, that does not mean that it is the easier and happier path, yeah, it feels good to do nothing, but only because you have not tasted the inebriating nectar that success by overcoming the odds brings. The torment and sadness brought by this  state of mind brings about rarely produces satisfying results, thus lingering within that vicious circle, will more likely bring forth a state of ruin.

Want to fly? Here you will find the courage and strength to shred those weights to pieces and make you as light as a feather but able you fly in your OWN direction. Want to be a runner? You WILL find the WILL to run a few meters, a mile, two…a marathon, whatever your desire is, in the race of life, or perhaps...even a real race, if that is what you WILL, you will be able to do it...because YOU CAN!

“Everyone is exactly where they want to be, the only difference

is how each one interprets the meaning of WANTING.”

Financial, interpersonal, intellectual, spiritual and career success, achievement and transcendence are things that are ALL attainable by ANY human being, but the reality of it is that the answer to attaining them doesn’t really lie in the lines of a book, just by `the mere act of reading it, as stated before—true and durable inspiration for success comes rather from APPLYING the principles outlined in those books; by actively applying them to your personal undertakings, which implies action, persistence, resourcefulness, etc.

Success originates from taking a step, whether that step be forward or backwards, nonetheless; a step as a result of your own WILL to spring up into action to change the status quo; to cause it to change by the force and effect of action catapulted by your WILL —THAT, in itself, for a fella whose modus operandi is leisurely tranquility, IS, indeed, a HUGE step.

A step forward is inspiration, a step backwards is an experience; a learning opportunity to regroup and redraw our strategy. Steps mark the beginning of every journey and in the marathon of walk around the world, a step backwards would place you closer to the finish line than the ones that have not taken a step at all—the world is round!

The resoluteness required to take action does not come as a burst of clarity, or as a sudden conviction inspired by a glorious speech to infuse WILL, as shown in many heroic movies and tales. Neither does it come as manifested in many paid or rehearsed testimonials pretending to claim sudden liberation of lifetime habits just by buying and reading a book, listening to an audio recording or watching an inspirational video. Yes, of course; no doubt that there are exceptions, but exceptions mean a minute portion in comparison with the general rule, and the general rule is that many people NEVER find that book; that shining light of change that seems reachable at one moment, yet so elusive and far away the next— so close, but yet so far!

Our actions are a transcription of what we conceive in our minds; our personality is constructed from thoughts we hold; thoughts that arouse from experiences we lived through, that were not inherent of our nature, but that were constructed as defense mechanisms, and once they were born, we nurtured them and reinforced them with fears, repetitions, words, affirmations; all combined and which surface in a muscular action pattern we call behavior, whether it’d be in the form of verbiage or body language, amalgamated in a bundle we denominate personality.

Today, you have a personality that YOU erected, that YOU is the YOU you need to get rid of to find the real ultimate YOU that is hidden behind that charade you have built, like tartar ruining the looks of that white enamel behind it…BUT HOW?...THAT is the point of this book, not only to tell you how, but also to SHOW YOU how…and help you DO IT. Telling you wouldn’t be enough, because what you constructed is tougher than steel to bend, only with the right guidance, the right infusion of positive (and sometimes negative) reinforcement, and the right approach, could it be shed, that is why this book is called WILL BOOT CAMP, not “Stroll in  the Park Under a Summer’s Moonlit Night Breeze.”

Old habits are Hard to Change…

…but It is Much Harder to Have to Live with Them!

To suppress old patterns of behavior and trend of thought is rather difficult and strenuous task, and might require numerous sessions of professional psychological help. That is why we are not pursuing the suppression of any thought harbored in your mind, what we rather seek is to subtly substitute the existing ones with new ones; fresh and powerful personality-enhancing thoughts. Thoughts that will seduce you, to act differently, thoughts that will enrich your personal life, not just moneywise, but in any sense that you define as your objective.

Why do you need Will Boot Camp?

The answer to this question is very simple: Some people need to coerced into action, because they will never, or rarely, take action on their own; they need to get bullied into being what they want to become. The self-restricting thoughts they have imposed upon themselves will not let them take the initiative to do it. Some people will hardly ever take action on their own accord, and if they do, many of the times, their attempts would at best be desultory, and most likely they will not sustain it.

They begin reading a book and their spirits flourish as do a trees after a rain, but when the freshness caused by the rain wears off, that luscious green goes away and the plant wilts; in that same way the profuse inspiration obtained from the book at hand diminishes in intensity and then their spirits die out just as fast, and they slouch back into the same somber spot that they were in when they began reading it, until the bright  spark  caused by it becomes a distant feeling and it is replaced by a desire to find something new...fading slowly...fading.

                                                     Now, I see the light!
                                                                              Now, I see the light!

                                                                           Now, I see the light!

                                    Now, I see the light!

                                                                                  Now, I see the light!

                                                                                      Now, I see the light!

                                                                                        Now, I see the light

                                                                                                                  .

                        POOF! Light’s gone…again!

The reason for this is very simple, yet the process itself is very intricate and incorporates many circumstances, interactions, decisions, perceptions, mental processes, etc.; things that are far too complex to discuss in this book; things that ultimately give way to this kind of self-destructive way of thinking that is manifested in our behavior and personality. They constitute the basis of our decisions, how we perceive things, how we conceive things and how we act upon those perceptions.

This program will provide our trainees with the LEVEL OF DISCIPLINE that it takes to follow the guidance provided by  many self-help books, but which seems hard very hard to follow— if not impossible to adhere to, because the spark of inspiration that the books they are reading have ignited, quickly extinguishes due to the difficulties that it presents for the readers to have to adhere to a behavioral pattern for which the “are not cut” for, due to the amount of discipline, persistence and WILL POWER that doing so requires.

Will Boot Camp emerges as a counteraction to redress this issue, which affects many aspects of our personal and professional lives and hinders our intellectual, emotional, professional and spiritual development, by not allowing us to unleash our full potential.

Will Boot Camp, is designed to remove your tendency to focus on the difficulties of specific tasks and help you develop a non-self-restrictive compulsion method to act without even hesitating on the things that OUGHT TO BE DONE.

Admit It!

“You cannot defeat an enemy     you do not admit exists.”

                                                           —Michael T. Flynn

Will Boot Camp is intended for those that WANT to be honest with themselves and ADMIT that they have not been able to stay a course of action due to LACK OF WILL power and other issues rooted into their character.

This is a primordial requisite because, if one is to remediate a destructive pattern of behavior, one MUST ADMIT what is WRONG, and KNOW what the CAUSE is in order to determine what ought to be done to redress such behavior. No sensate warrior goes to war without intelligence about their objectives; how would he recognize the enemy? How would he locate the enemy? How will he know what artillery to bring? How does a soldier collect intelligence?—A soldiers does so by LOOKING, WATCHING, OBSERVING AND ANALYZING.

Right now, you are a soldier of WILL, and as such you will learn to combat that lack of it; you will STRENGTHEN YOUR WILL and you will learn to overpower situations that ATTEMPT against your will. THIS YOU MUST DO!

But a soldier was not born possessing any combat experience, ability to effectively wage war effectively is not something that is generally improvised; a soldier is TRAINED, and over time he perfects that training, adding new strategies, tactics, and even designing his own weapons.

In Will Boot Camp you will be trained; you will be given weapons to terminate your enemy, but you will also learn, over time, how to make your own weapons to return effective fire when the situation calls for it. Everything is a process; don’t seek for shortcuts, in doing so, you will only be STRENGTHENING your enemy. ADHERE TO DISCIPLINE.

Right now, you  feel your muscles are week, figuratively speaking, you can’t even do a single push-up;  you don’t have the WILL, nor the strength to do a 20 mile walk on the road to success; your bags are too heavy for your frame; you feel demolished by the pounding life has given you; so many years of suffering. Oh! Poor you! A victim of the circumstances, life has been so unfair top you!—NONSENSE! THAT’S ALL NONSENSE! YOU ARE A WARRIOR! YOU CAN’T FEEL LIKE THAT; YOU DON’T HAVE THE RIGHT TO FEEL LIKE THAT! PUT IT THROUGH YOUR THICK SKULL. DONT YOU EVER, EVER ADMIT TO WEAKNESS UNLESS THAT ADMISSION IS MEANT TO FIX SOMETHING THAT IS WRONG, OR ACCEPT ANY INPUT FROM ANYONE THAT UNDERMINES YOUR SPIRITS! WHOAH? THIS YOU MUST DO!

This is your SELF asking you a question, and from hear on you won’t call anyone Sir,but SELF. You will develop an intimate relationship with your SELF; and you will learn to RESPECT your SELF at every step you take. You will learn to be more considerate with your SELF, is that clear?____________________. THIS YOU MUST DO!

Are you, a maggot? _______________     SAY IT OUTLOUD! ______________________

What are you then?   _______________________ LOUDER!_________________________

Who do you RESPECT?_____________________

Who do care for?__________________________

If you didn’t yell loudly, as instructed; you are restrained by fear of what others might think of you, because you are placing the senseless aceptance of others over your well-being, and that is no attitude to become a winner. Whoever ridicules you or distances himself from you for doing attempting to overcome obstacles in your life that are holding you back, then that person is NOT YOUR FRIEND, so why do you choose his/her satisfaction over yours?

Who matters here?__________________

In life, the Mighty Providence endowed us with three kinds of people: FRIENDS, ENEMIES AND ACCESSORIES. Friends whom we must defend; ENEMIES whom we must fight against to protect our friends, and ACCESSORIES which are tools that we can use to fight defend our friends and ourselves. You have to be bold and think about what is more important, your objectives or someone else’s vacuous opinion.

I am sure you are not reading this in a church or funeral; you are not reading it at a desk where you have clients…If you are on a train, at the park, at home, or elsewhere, where there are people around…scream it! (Sometimes it is a funny ice breaker when you startle someone and then apologize by telling them, “I, am sorry. I just got SO into the book.”

It a liberating experience, and doing away with the shyness is one of the things that people need to do to TRANSCEND. Use people to lose your fears; use people to gain confidence; use people to gain your freedom! Once you overcome that social hypocrisy of living for the acceptance of others at the cost of your happiness, you will be able to go to a fine dining restaurant and enjoy your food eating with your napkin as a bib and using your fingers to eat your chicken (not that I recommend that, but if it comes oput of you and doesn’t hurt anyone, hey…!)

Don’t waste your chance to be the center of attention, LOOSEN UP!

***Every time you are asked a question’ make sure you ARE AWARE, VERY AWARE of what you are saying; resound it in your head, until it sounds to you as being spoken by someone else. This, You Must Do.

There is no place for shyness or being embarrassed here; are you here to please others?  to square yourself away? __________

Alright then! Don mind it if people think you are crazy—people called Einstein crazy, go figure!

                                                   HALT!

DISCIPLINARY 1

IF YOU DIDN’T SAY IT LOUD...

Now DROP and give me 21! LOUD and CONFIDENT (just let go and do it!!!).

***Every time you fail comply with an order or fail meet certain expectations you will be required to complete 21 phrases, that are oriented to discourage certain behavior, they are called Statements of Truth, that is all you need to know for now. Those that are doing it without a WI, will be TRUSTED—that is one thing you don’t betray, to supervise yourself and punish yourself, when required.

VERY IMPORTANT!

****MAKE SURE THAT WHEN YOU SAY IT, YOU LISTEN TO YOURSELF, VISUALIZE WHAT YOU ARE SAYING AND TRY TO FEEL THE EMOTION OF WHAT YOU ARE SAYING. ***

I express myself freely anywhere I want! X21

                                   Why can you do that?

                                    THIS, YOU MUST DO

                                      FORWARD…

The Need to be pushed

In order to shred this kind of mentality, most people practically need to be coerced into action; they need to be brainwashed, if you will, into believing that they can maintain the course, because otherwise, they’d do what is only natural for them to do: Quit.

This is not an easy task, because it involves entering information consciously to the unconscious, which requires constant repetition as a penetrant, and  emotions as a glue in order to permeate the concept into the mind to make it stick, to get you to believe what you NEED to believe, which will ultimately alter your habituated way of thinking—sort of like what the military does to trainees to bring discipline and regimental commitment out of them.

We all know what we need to do to get on our road to financial, economic and overall personal success; we are not morons. Who in God's heaven doesn’t know that you have to be persistent, diligent, dedicated and that we have to have confidence in everything that we do in order to be able to achieve the things we set out to do? That is not the issue in 99.99% of the cases; the issue is that we, unwittingly or intentionally, choose to do neglect responsibility, to avoid situations or tasks that require effort and that are not easy or fun; so we make choices that usually involve taking the most “chilling and layback” routes; which are more in accord with our conception of “easy work.”

We choose to avoid endeavors that are cumbersome, so we rather sit or take the easy road that takes us through the most effortless path, the less risky and the one that is most pleasant, which usually leads to a place where everyone shares the crumbs that successful people; to a destination of dissatisfaction, regrets and misery, both financial, interpersonal and emotional.

IS IT JUST A CLICHÉ?

We all have a drive to succeed, which some of us cultivate, and some of us simply Houdini it out existence, but nonetheless is a capacity that is attainable to everyone; and which is proportional to the amount of effort and creativity you are willing to invest. This is not just success with money, the success we are talking about here is success in ANY aspect of life—any! N-E!

Can a person that has made millions of dollars be called successful when he is so fat that he has to depend on others to do things he could be doing had he taken care of that body? Can a person be called successful when his children have grown to resent his dedication to work, and as a result, he feels guilty and rejected by his children?— maybe from his vantage point, if he is a greedy person, he might see it as such, but to most this prostrated millionaire would be something to pity. Maybe this millionaire that provided no love to hos children is source of hatred for people that value family and love—Success is a personal definition; and it means, in this case, achieving that which is of most importance to us. Success means to feel complete and independent.

Crude as it may sound, but for some people providing for the sustenance of a family is more important than receiving their affection while spending quality time, because in doing so, they have found their true sense of self-worth, which is being a provider for the family.

The fact of the matter is that success requires resoluteness, dedication, constancy, insight, foresight, rigid discipline, focus, resilience, etc. Once you have all these elements somewhat under control, then you will begin to see life in a different light and you will notice how most, if not all, of your efforts will be directed towards achieving the kind of success you are striving for.

I am sure your present state of mind is making you perceive what I said as pursuing an impossible—right now your mind is throwing at you all these negative emotions; it makes it seem tedious and unattainable...and TO YOU, it is an undeniable truth, because your WILL has not been trained or corrected. But the reality of it that it is ALL ATTAINABLE by ANYONE—N-E-1! You just have to allow yourself to be guided; without this training it is very unlikely to change so abruptly, behaviors that have been nurtured for a lifetime, I am a witness to that.

Everything that you begin doing in a constant and persistent manner WILL become a habit, success is no different. Once you have begun to reinforce the attitudes aforementioned, you will begin to display these attitudes more readily and naturally, just like when you go to the gym for the first time; the first few days are the toughest, but after a few days your body becomes more accustomed to the extraneous exercises, and as you begin to see results, your mind begins to appreciate them,  developing an affinity that seduces you to do more; SATISFACTION is a hell of a drug!

Success is very attainable when accompanied by a resolute WILL and the result can be very fulfilling, but for the vast majority of humanity this does not happen, because many don’t have the WILL to persist or to commit; we failed to make the right decisions; for some reason we don’t take risks; for some reason we decide to work a 9-5 and put the money in the bank so that others get rich off our efforts; for some reason we never crave success the way other people do…BUT THAT IS PAST.

Because of these reasons Will Boot Camp is a program that will train you to develop a STRONG WILL and teach you to EXECUTE on the spot; a program designed to tackle the obstacles that hinder your progress; it places you back in control and turns you into the go-getter kind of person that you were supposed to be.

Hard work... is hard...when you are weak in Spirits

It is tough to commit to a course of action that requires hard work because, our self-induced limitation syndrome has created an invisible cage to which we are confined in at WILL; a barrier constructed by our decisions and indecisions, our fears and insecurities; a barrier that we have kept strengthening through the years. As a result, we have decided we don’t want to commit to anything that is not as pleasurable as the comfort of choosing the easiest route, which entails to submit to the circumstances, thus the repudiatory compulsion we feel when having to take responsibility of something by committing to a set of actions that require an effort from us and which demand that we get out of our comfort spot.

Don't measure yourself for unresolved problems and insecurities you may have, but measure your worth by your courage to confront problems that would have driven you to the ground.

Successful people are creative, but creativity becomes difficult when you dwell in a mindset that is destructive and distractive, because we rather let others do the thinking and consume the products of their thoughts, which we pay for with the remuneration we receive from the common work we do, while living as rich and happy kings IN OUR IMAGINATION. Common deeds produce common results; common occupations earn common salaries; common people generally are not exalted or recognized and as a result common achievements bring little satisfaction.

We can TRANSCEND and go beyond if we genuinely decide to, but instead of seeking to be extraordinary, unwittingly, we decided to collect the crumbs that those in the competition for success; that is why many have never approached that gorgeous woman that could have been your wife, because you felt she was out of your league and she ended up with someone way below your level that ruined her soul and her beauty. That is why you lost your friends, who moved to opulent lives and made new friends that shared their dreams and attitudes---hell! You never dared tell anyone about your most fervent dreams, instead you fantasized about them and lived them vicariously...that your unchangeable sorry past, from this present on, you will write your splendid future.

LEARN TO WANT IT  TACKLING THE PERSON FACTOR

You decide your life, your company, your earnings, your happiness… What do you want? Wish for it just enough and your mind—the universe—will conspire for you to receive it, that is the secret---that universe IS WITHIN YOUR HEAD; that conspiring is your unconscious tuning in to the new ideas and thoughts (desires) that you are infusing it with, to be later displayed as behavior that is oriented to the fulfillment of those thoughts—THAT is the true secret!

Motivation to create   will boot camp

Will Boot Camp emerges out of my own need to make a positive change in my life, to change the direction in which circumstances were taking me. I had so many dreams and desires to change my life, but I mostly dreamed of things but never got quite to act upon them––I was too pusillanimous. I just got caught up in the bubble of just EXISTING––Yes, existing— existing in a world that suited my pretensions at the moment, that did not demand great effort and that didn’t return great rewards either, because your winnings, in the casino of Life, are proportionally as big as the amount you gamble–– only Life is much fairer that casinos are!— I had my job, a car, a very active sexual life, going to clubs, having fun, but nonetheless…just existing.

Then a new change of mind came—REALIZATION, and new insecurities appeared; worries that I hadn’t had before, ideas, ambitions, hopes, etc.

I got into sales, and as many of people in the sales business, I began to read books that further infused me with that emotional dose of you get from listening top Amway diamonds— yes! You can make it, too!—and it is true…

At that moment I felt a desire to find a way to put to use all those great books I had read, but that for some reason did not get me moving the way I had imagined they would, because even though they made sense to me, because of the applicable concepts that they made mention of, I had a bad habit of “laxing” and lack of WILL and initiative; it was more comfortable to drift in the direction I had been drifting—or so I believed.

Knowledge is Not the Issue; You are

I believe those self-help books are great; they all have good advises in them and they are great fountains of inspiration for people to take initiative, but what they don’t take into account is that most of their readers don’t have the WILL, to put their good advises in action and to adhere to a commitment.

Knowledge is not the barrier for most people; every human being knows that perseverance and hard work with some creativity, confidence, etc. are key elements of success. The barrier is something that lies within their psyche and its relation to the body; it is the type of person they became over time; the physical body restrained by the mindset accustomed to taking it easy; a body used to obey a mind that has been habituated to constantly avoid uncomfortable actions and decisions, which evolved in a cocoon of complacency.

Just imagine telling someone that to lose weight, they only have to run at least 2 miles every morning and do pushups and sit-ups and follow a healthy diet. And then, you tell that person exactly how to do the pushups to enhance their effectiveness, and all that good stuff; you tell that person how exercises can change their lives and how they need to be constant and persistent to succeed; you tell them a barrage of dieting tips, etc., etc., etc., …but you forget that that person is not in shape, not because he doesn’t know what to do—he knows how he got fat, unless he is a nimrod, but he is fat because he lacks the motivation to follow those instructions; he lacks WILL to challenge his “malaccustomed” mind and body. He’s just missing that spark of WILL POWER that allows people to take command and action, where acting is not to his comfort; he just hasn't got the discipline  to do what he knows has to be done; he lacks that energy that opposes complacency. He’s out of shape because he became so lazy, that he lost the drive that compels people to do what is NECESSARY instead of what is more COMFORTABLE or that which requires the least effort.

These books overlook the fact that those traits can only come from a mind and body trained over the years, since childhood, when they began forming habits of working and doing what was expected of them, maybe having to be compelled at first by their parents, but later adapted and that adaptation became the norm, developing into a WILLFUL person; while those that find it so difficult to take action began to cultivate their present state during their childhood, aided by the lack of discipline instilled by loose parents that were overprotective and the child ended up with NO SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY; or, if they were disciplined by their parents, that discipline was lost by a long period of complacency and  their bodies and minds got so used to that state, that they had lost their ability to adequately cope with and respond to  external demands—they just dropped out of the race--- they really had no obligation to do so, so why keep up?

For those people to effect a significant change they need more than advice, the only way is by flooding their brains with convincing information to elicit a positive emotion, followed by a behavior that is in accord with their thoughts and emotions.

The only way to accomplish this task is by “regimentalizing” these factors, so that they can be strictly enforced by coercion, using an Instructor, which serves as the main catalyst that takes the place of the persistence they lack; someone that persists for them by pushing them through until they can persist on their own. Our instructors will push the WILL out of our trainees, until they are ready to act on their own, that is why we recommend that you involve someone else to push you beyond your comfort if you don’t trust your honesty or level of commitment. It all depends on what you think is better, some people can be honest with themselves and understand the importance of completing the program successfully. An instructor is highly recommended, but not essential; it all depends on your own personal experience and how honest you are with yourself.

I know what it feels like to be a slave of your own self-destructive behavior; to want to accomplish great things and to want bring great ideas to fruition and be halted every time by indecisiveness, procrastination and plain perspective “unluckiness.”

So I wrote this book, to share it with everyone who is in a similar situation, so that they can form part of a mutual support community and at the same time to serve them as support and orientation to liberating themselves from themselves—if worked for me, the pinnacle of incredulity, then it HAS to work for you.

A BRIEF STORY ABOUT PERCEPTION

I was going through very difficult times where nothing seemed to work for me, as if a force guided the circumstances to disfavor me in my undertakings, if you can call them that, or so was my perception at the moment. One day I came a across a tiny but very interesting book, The Power of the Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy which captured my thoughts very and led me to understand quite a few things about how mental predispositions can define our reality.

Another book among the many that I read was The Secret, which was excellent, but which I found hard to believe because of the high amount fantasticism used to explain the construct of a successful mentality and how this mindset leads us to change the circumstances around us to produce the results we want just by focusing on what we DESIRE.

Even though it sounded too magical, reading it, I began to understand how all of our negative thoughts easily permeate our minds and how once they were rooted in it, they became our Operating System, our essence and our personality; all working in a synergistic synchrony, as our defense mechanism in order for our minds to avoid guilt, feelings of inadequacy, worthlessness, and despair.

Why will boot camp  will work for you

If you are a person that has gone or is going through difficult situations, no matter of what sort, that can be changed by YOUR actions, but somehow you don’t seem to get it going; Will Boot Camp is for you. Our program will endow you with the necessary tools to begin reprogramming your unconscious so that all those preconceived notions are flushed out of your caput.

With this training, you will build yourself up to the point where you can begin being more proactive in your life’s direction to regain or gain the control you lost or never had.

Just like military boot camp builds the bodies of trainees, in the very same way Will Boot Camp will build the muscles of your will power, by espousing constructive behavior, influencing and strengthening it through constant repetition through immersive exercises.

Will boot camp, will eliminate those negative feelings, by instilling new ones using the very same principle by which you learned them: AUTOSUGGESTION, by doing, thinking and feeling what is being taught, to make sure it permeates your mind and that it weakens the undesired behavior or thought process.

Will Boot Camp has been written thinking of people that have potential to do and achieve any goals that they have in mind, and that rule applies to most human beings. Who doesn’t want to live happy and without having to go through life living under other people’s shadows? Yes, money is not something that many will be willing to sacrifice their peace and happiness for...if they had it, that is.

Many are not happy, not because they don’t have money, but because they have other issues in their lives. Will Boot camp will guide you through, so that you can search, attack and destroy a hidden enemy that hides deeply inside your psyche, running its psy-ops stealthily.

If almost every human being has the potential to be successful, and everyone wants to be successful, then why are there so many unsuccessful people?

The answer to that question lies in one simple answer: Lack of WILL to succeed.

There is no human being on this planet that wants achieve something and hasn’t; if they have not, it is because they didn’t really mean it.
